Struggling Wa Suntaa Sporting Club picked their second victory of the season following a 2-1 home victory against Kintampo FC on Sunday at the Wa Sports Stadium.
The rejuvenated side came back from an early setback to claim the maximum points with a purposeful brace from Ibrahim Baba.
The win was the first in the league for coach John Kandumah Aziz as well as his second victory in all competitions since taking over the side.
Wa Suntaa Sporting Club concluded the first half of the season with 2 wins, 7 draws and 6 defeats to accumulate 13 points after 15 league matches.
The Wa based club will now move two places up from bottom of the league table following the win as they end the first half of the season.
