The 5th edition of one of the country’s current greatest award schemes will be held on March 26th, 2022, after nominations were out a few weeks ago.
However, the winners of the next rated acts from the various regions of Ghana have been announced, with the current face of Waali / Dagaare Music emerging as the winner of the next rated act from the Upper West Region.
According to the organizers of the 3 music award scheme, the next rated acts are nominated based on how hard-working and leading these acts are in their respective regions. These guys are not signed to any major record label and are doing everything possible by themselves to get to the top.
Sambwoy who was among 2 other contenders for Upper West Region emerged Winner for Upper West; he was in close tie with Stunner and Harmless Vid. Sambwoy has been buzzing from Upper West Region the whole of 2020 to 2022 – he kept trending on mainstream platforms from 2020 till date. He is the current Upper West Music Awards Artiste of the Year.
