The Ministry of Education (MoE) after deleting https://cssps.org, a portal used to check CSSPS school placement of BECE graduates has created a new portal to be used by heads of Senior High/Technical Vocational Institutions only.

Previously https://cssps.gov.gh/shsheads the new portal (https://hm.cssps.gov.gh) EducationWeb has been told is to enable heads of schools to check and print the list of 2021 BECE students placed in their schools for admission.

The homepage of the newly created Computerized School Selection and Placement System (https://hm.cssps.gov.gh) has a login section for school heads of public second cycle institutions to enter their school code and password.

https://hm.cssps.gov.gh comes after the Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum said his outfit has upgraded the bandwidth of the placement portal https://cssps.gov.gh to avoid downtime issues when the placements are released.

“We have put measures in place to ensure the websites experience no downtime when the school placements are out. The bandwidth of the portals have increased to contain a lot of traffic or visitors,” he told an Accra-based radio station.

Expected to be released within this week, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Education (MoE), Kwasi Kwarteng Monday told United Television (UTV) the school placement process has reached an almost completion stage.

According to him, the much-awaited 2021 computer school placement when not released within this week by the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) will be out next week Monday, March 21, 2022.

“The Management of the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS), Ghana Education Service, Ghana TVET Service and Free SHS Secretariat are working on the school placement,” the spokesman said on Monday.

Mr Kwasi Kwarteng on Thursday in a press release also disclosed the Education Ministry (MoE) is working together with various security agencies in the country to arrest unscrupulous individuals he described as school placement fraudsters.

“The public is cautioned against the payment of monies to unscrupulous persons offering to secure their preferred choices ahead of the 2022 computerized school placement into Senior High/TVET schools,” he urged the public.
