Upper west is a hub of great talents not only at music but in the general sphere of life activities.
But it has been noted that these talents are reluctant and are not exploring and selling their craft to the rest of the nation as others does in our sistering regions. An external promotion of our music has led to so many successes in this music scene. It’s different with Dakora and Big Dib. The duos mentioned above are both of upper west root and they seems to be more serious with music as a career than just a passion.
A recent flyer of programs outline shows how Big Dib will be touring the Ashanti regional capital as part of the promotion of his newest single “God Abeg” which doing so well on the digital platforms. This and so many other reasons made the industry players tipped him to be one of the biggest music exports in the near years to come.
His complete devotion for his music is unmatched and it’s already placing upper west on top news portals and other avenues.
Dakora on the other hand is among the very few northern artists to host shows and programs outside the northern terrain.
He did it and chalked his name among the likes of Fancy Gadam, Maccasio, Fad Lan, sapashini who filled the Bukom Boxing Arena. He garnered success recently after assembling over 5000 fans at Madina Accra.
His unique way of projecting the region is a major factor that the industry players consider and tipped him to be among the biggest music export upper west has ever in the near years.
Unlike a typical upper west based artist, Dakora has been touring TV stations with high influences to sell out his craft to Ghana and Africa as a whole.
Is this enough for them to be tipped as th next biggest music export in coming years?
