Prolific Ghanaian publicist, executive producer and artiste manager, Elorm Beenie has advised Ghanaian musicians to keep quiet if they fail to learn about the music business.
He revealed that most artiste complain because they have failed to have their data well logged in online.
“Before you open a verse in a microphone, how well are your things logged in online as an artiste? Most of our artistes do not belong to collective society. Some don’t even have their things/data logged in correctly online.”
“It is not the producer responsibility to log in for you as an artiste. As an artiste, you’re suppose to do it yourself or your management is suppose to do it for you. This is why after everything, when the producer starts to cash in when the song blows, the artiste will be accusing the producer of stealing their song ” He said.
