The 6th edition of the annual Upper West Music Awards (Prumas) was launched in Wa on Thursday in the studio of Radio Progress.
Organized by Radio Progress, the ceremony was attended by music stakeholders, journalists, bloggers, DJs and representatives from media partners.
The event was carried live and streamed on the official Upper West Music Awards facebook page, Prumas2020.
The ceremony also had in attendance the Regional Director of the National Youth Authority Archibald Donkor, Secretary of the Upper West Region branch of MUSIGA Haruna Sungumu Aziz and a host of other corporate organizations.
It witnessed spectacular performance from Best Gally, the 2017 PRUMAS artiste of the year.

The Prumas industry awards night will be held in September on a date that will be communicated to the public soon.
It rewards deserving artistes for their hard work, dedication and contribution to the development of the Upper West Music Industry.
