The Government of Ghana’s flagship ADWUMAWURA Initiative has finally started training young entrepreneurs within the Upper West Region. The initiative aims at empowering 10,000 youth-owned business firms across the nation by way of capacity building, mentorship, coaching, access to capital and markets, and annual grants to 2,000 scalable and sustainable businesses.
Regional Director and staff of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) visited all the training hubs in the region on Monday, 27th October 2025, to formally inaugurate the exercise. The region has been strategically delineated into hubs to facilitate delivery and participation.

One of the vibrant training hub, led by One-time lobbying consultancy limited, at Wa Jamiat Islamic Girls Senior High School, where eager participants have initiated their journey to create sustainable and creative businesses.
The ADWUMAWURA Initiative continues to reassure the government’s commitment to supporting young entrepreneurs, creating employment, and driving economic growth in Ghana.
