The Upper West Region in Ghana is still making history in the African music arena as Glee Jeezy, the brain behind the popular Gwollu Mafia movement, brings yet another historical piece with his music from Northern Ghana.
The news follows their recent award-winning victory for the prestigious Notable West Africa Artist of the Year award, which took place in Nigeria. The Team Energy President has indeed made a huge impact, drawing a massive crowd in Burkina Faso on December 22, 2025.
The crowd in Burkina Faso was electric as fans thronged to witness the award-winning singer perform. Glee Jeezy is without a doubt a singer whose work is loved by all, as evidenced by the love they showed as they chanted his lyrics and held banners with Team Energy.
Taking to social media after the show, the artist posted an emotional message:

Right from Ghana to Nigeria and now Burkina Faso, Glee Jeezy is showing that the Upper West Region is not a secluded spot for African music. To pull such a massive crowd from other countries aside from his country is not a success only for Glee Jeezy himself but a blessing for Team Energy, Northern Ghana, as well as the entire industry.
