MALAWI NEWS : DoDMA Commissioner, Kalemba Assures about the implementation of Food Distribution in the lean season
Commissioner for DoDMA has assured that his department has 76.2 billion Kwacha to reach out to all the 3.8 million people at risk of facing hunger this lean season.
He told journalists that DoDMA is currently implementing food distribution and cash transfer programmes to the people to ease the problem of hunger.
So far, according to Kalemba the department has reached out to all targeted beneficiaries in the Southern region and is now moving to the Central and Northern regions.
