After an extensive two-year break, the prestigious PRUMAS Awards has officially announced its grand and much awaited comeback, and this time, its coming loaded with exciting and life changing opportunities for artists from the entertainment industry.
“PRUMAS Awards 2026 is more than just trophies and titles. It is all about making an impact and empowering the creative community. Among the most exciting features of this 2026 edition is the special privilege for the Overall Artist of the Year.”
Before the final announcement and confirmation of the Overall Artist of the Year 2026, shortlisted Artists are required to provide a project proposal of their choice, which they would wish to execute should they win the award Overall Artist of the Year.
The best part? All project expenses will be sponsored by WACCU itself. That means everything from painting canvas to artist food expenses will be covered so that the selected artist does not have to pay anything when they implement their project.
Apart from the project patronage, the Overall Artist of the Year will also benefit from a one-year ambassador deal with WACCU, providing access to brand exposure, collaboration, and more.
This is expected to be a totally new experience and redefine the kind of thing award programs represent, as they are poised to move away from “mere celebrations to long-term empowerment and industry development.”
