The Sissala Entertainment Award is the biggest awards scheme to celebrate hard work, integrity, and perseverance, as well as the most strategic sound, inspiring and forward-looking entertainers with measurable achievement in the music. Mahama Buku Abubakari popularly known as Glee Jeezy won overall artist of the year, Album of the year and Dancehall artist of the year.
One of the most highly contested categories of the awards was that of the overall artist of the year category.
