A Ghanaian singer song writer who is gaining more recognition in Ghana, Bukina and Togo, he is called Ibrahim Moomin known in the showbiz industry as Badingu, a native of Wechiau in the Upper West Region of Ghana.
Badingu is a cultural conscious artiste who prefers to sing in his native dialect call waale/dagaare so that his native people will enjoy his songs. Badingu sings in English, french, hausa, but sings much in his dialect waale/dagaare. Preserving tradition and educating others on his culture are important to Badingu and he hopes to incorporate native instruments into his music.
