The Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency in the Central Region of Ghana, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong on the 18th of January 2023, donated 10 industrial sewing machines to Wa Technical Institute in the Upper West Region. The Assin Central Member of Parliament indicated in his address that he would add 5 to the already donated after a request made by the board chairman of the school summing up to 15.
However, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong revealed in his speech that the former GFA boss, Lawyer Kwasi Nyantakyi, made a passionate appeal to him to help the school’s fashion department with such practical equipments.
In his conclusion remarks, the Assin Central Member of Parliament, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong made his intention clear to contest for the upcoming New Patriotic Party presidential primaries when nomination is officially opened.
The board chairman of Wa Technical Institute on behalf of the school authorities expressed their appreciation for the kind gesture shown to them by the Assin Central Member of Parliament.
