In a kind gesture and show of commitment to the community, Wa Power Sporting Club, a Division One League side of Access Bank, has rewarded two young fans who showed exceptional passion and loyalty to their club.
The boys reportedly rode for hours from Wa to Nadowli just to support Wa Power SC during their match a trip that touched many hearts. The club, in appreciation, rewarded them with new bicycles and club jerseys.
However, the most touching part of this gesture goes beyond the gifts. Wa Power SC has announced a full sponsorship of education for the two supporters, from Junior High School (JHS) through to Senior High School (SHS).
This act of selflessness demonstrates the real essence of the club’s “Catch Them Young” project developing not only young footballers but also the lives and destinies of dedicated young fans.
