Sensational Ghanaian young Afrobeat artist Abdul Kadir widely recognized in the showbiz industry as Big Dib in an interview at Pure Fm on 17th February. Big Dib is out to promote his yet to release Ep dubbed “Lost in my Dreams Ep” and a single he drop.
In a video sighted by Xpressghonline.com on youtube, Big Dib voiced out his displeasure on one of the kumerican based top rapper called Ypee by saying “he is ungrateful to me because I sent him a project as a friend I served so much but he refused to work on it for me”.
He further on disclosed that he sent over four different songs to him, the first was at somewhere 2019 which an agreement was hit but ypee broke the deal. He made immense effort to get back the process on board but ypee wouldn’t even reply to his text or calls.
Another year came and the same thing keeps happening. Big dib made a clear statement which indicates that he made even payments to the frontline artist and still have his projects ignored.
When he was asked as to whether he still wants the songs to be fixed he affirms it and his reason was that he believes ypee is among the very few artist who can bring one on to the dream light we have been seeking and praying for and also it’s a project he wants to add to his upcoming EP tagged as “lost in my dream” which he already recruited fameye and larruso on.
He believes with the addition of ypee his dream of stardom will be a reality in a jiffy.
It is understood that one might need a stepping stone in order to be successful in which ever field he or she might be and the situation is not different from the music industry in Ghana.
What has become the trend in Ghana mostly are the A-class artists signing on the upcoming to bring them in the limelight. Unfortunately, relationships like those end bitter, when the upcoming turns “Ungrateful” in the eyes of the public. But with case of big dib its rather the vice versa.
