The winners of Citi TV’s inaugural Entertainment Achievement Awards have been named.
The show, which aired on Citi TV, eTV, DGN TV, and all Citi TV portals, was streamed live.
Sports, music, film, fashion, photography, internet, and comedy are among the fields covered the scheme.
It was hosted AJ Sarpong and Kwaku David with performances from Okyeame Kwame, Tulenkey, Kweku Flick, Kofi Jamar, Abiana, Camidoh, Yung Pabi, Irene Logan, Legon Palmwine Band, Bogo Blay, Lyrical Joe, and Poetra Asantewa.
At the end of the event, actor Akwasi Boadi, popularly called Akrobeto emerged as the overall Entertainment Personality of the Year.
He beat competition from other showbiz personalities such as actress and television host Nana Ama McBrown, comic actor Clemento Suarez, dancehall artistes Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, rapper Sarkodie and highlife artiste, Kuami Eugene to win the award.
