Strongman says his ‘beef’ with Medikal is real and not for hype.
He said Medikal is not his friend and has never been his friend.
The two have attacked each other with ‘diss’ songs even dragging their girlfriends.
Strongman Burner, a former signee under Sarkodie, has revealed that his back and forth attack with Medikal has nothing to do with hype. In an audio listened to by YEN.com.gh, Strongman said their ‘beef’ is real. He added he had never been friends with Medikal and does not think they would have any such closeness.
Strongman then rejected reports and rumours that their ‘beef’ was planned for hype, especially for him since Medikal is already a popular rapper.
According to him, he was pained by Medikal’s subtle insults on social media and decided to respond to him. Strongman added that he would not even shake hands with Medikal if they should meet.
The two rappers have been at each other’s throat since the 2019 VGMA, when Strongman claimed that he should have won the Rapper of the Year than Medikal. The issue got out of hands on Saturday when Strongman recorded a ‘diss’ song ‘Don’t Try’ to attack Medikal. In the song, Strongman mocked Medikal for boasting and also claiming that he saved Ghana rap. Medikal also released a response ‘diss’ track insulting Strongman and his girlfriend. The insults kept going back and forth until Medikal said he would respond to Strongman no more.
