The Edo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Jerry Uwangue, has commended the recent growth in Edo State and applauding Governor Monday Okpebholo’s remarkable contributions to infrastructural development in the state.
“We all can see Edo State today. There is alot of development going on and as commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, I have also ensured our dear state fight the insecurity of food and also help our farmers to meet the general demand of the state”, Uwangue stated.
He emphasised the need for all stakeholders to channel their efforts toward the collective development of the area as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Jerry Uwangue was appointed Edo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security in October 2025 by Governor Monday Okpebholo.
He also serves as the CEO of J&G Engineering and Construction Services Ltd.
