Upper West based non- profit organization, Daughters Of Upper West on Friday 17th January 2020 made an outreach service to Ullo Senior High School themed “unleashing your inner potential”.
The program was held at Ullo Senior High School with deputy CEO of Zongo Development Fund, Madam Ayisha Salifu as the Special Guest, other dignitaries at the ceremony include Naa Alhaji Seidu Amadu Baburonon II Paramount chief of Ullo traditional area and staff of Ullo Senior High School.
Founder and CEO of Daughters Of Upper West Madam Asana Mahama said it is their dream to support children in the Upper West to achieve greater heights.
The group she said, “is tasking members to make monthly contribution of Gh₵ 10.00 to raise funds to support brilliant but needy girls in the society”.
The group donated 63 cartons of assorted drinks, 22 boxes of sanitary pads among other items to the school.
The Guest speaker, Madam Aisha donated GH₵ 1,000.00 for Daughters of Upper West, GH₵ 1,000.00 and GH₵ 500.00 to the girls and boys of the school respectively to form advocacy groups to facilitate their growth.
In her remarks, she advised the students to work hard announcing there will be more rewards for the students.
The school authorities thanked the group and noted that the role of the Daughters of Upper West will inspire the students to achieve high and work hard to unearth their talents to become role models like the group members.
