Zambia-Congolese director Patrick Lualua Jr (Director P), known for films like Killface and Last 24 Hours, is awaiting the release of his new short film, titled Ada.
The film Ada, is based on a true story of a Nigerian girl called Ada, a young lady who no longer believes in love because of her past experiences, when she met a young man at school, she found herself in a position where she sought to find a way to believe again.
The official announcement of the star cast is still awaited.
The film is slated to hit the theatres and online streaming platforms later this year.
Speaking of the exciting partnership with Bluex Production, founder of Lupasa Productions, director Patrick Lualua Jr expressed the company’s delight in the upcoming project. “We are delightful to have this project, Ada will be one of the biggest movie to hit the screens after it’s release. We are currently working extensively to release a masterpiece film for our viewers, ” he said.
Lualua’s works are popular both in Zambia and overseas. His short school movie “Killface” won the Best Student Film at the prestigious Vegas Movie Awards in 2019.
