Management of Fashion Connect Africa launched the second edition of their fashion exhibition at Movenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra, a night hosted to express their profound gratitude to partners for their immense support towards Ghana Fashion Industry.
The second edition of the fashion exhibition themed, “The Future of Fashion” will commence with “Business of Fashion Dialogue” with people who have gained a lot of experience in the fashion industry focusing on sustainability and fashion technology on Saturday, March 19, and climax it with the “ Fashion Gala and Music “ on Sunday, March 20.
The CEO of Fashion Connect Africa, Victoria Micheals, disclosed her reason for working with upcoming brands.
“There are designers who do not get the opportunity to show their craft, they are very talented, but no one pays attention to them and this is what Fashion Africa focuses on. We want their talents and designs to be seen and also speak for them, where they are from and where they are taking their brands to,” she stated.
“This year we have designers who are futuristic, they have actually gone ahead to think about what fashion will be like in the future. So we’re going to have very creative, very unique, very distinct designs on the runway,” she added.
The Fashion Icon, Victoria Michaels, encouraged other fashion houses that organize these kind of events to give opportunities to the unknown brands who can also change the fashion space.
