The Ghana Music Awards UK (GMA-UK) 2023 nominees were announced in Accra on 4 August ahead of the main ceremony later in the year.
Now in its seventh year, the scheme spotlights and celebrates the impact of Ghanaian music in the UK. This yearโs edition will reward works released between 1 April 2022 and 31 March 2023, across about 40 categories.
Among the most nominated acts is the 2022 Artist of the Yearย Black Sherifย with 13 nods. Others areย Kwabena Kwabena with 10 as well asย Sarkodie and Stonebwoy with eight each.
