“Uber driver” hit maker Wendy Shay has asked President Nana Akufo-Addo to invite her to the Jubilee House.
She described herself as the “Queen of GH(Ghana) music,” adding that the music industry has not been fair to women.
She cited the President’s invitation to Shatta Wale in her request to meet with the president.
She did not state why she wants to meet the president when she made the request.
There was no immediate response from the president’s Twitter handle as the time of publishing this story.
“She tweeted: “Dear @NAkufoAddo, we appreciate the love you’ve shown towards the creative art.I plead that as you invited the King @shattawalegh the same way you can invite the Queen of Gh Music @wendyshaygh.The industry is not being fair to GH female Artist.. We know you can help #GhWakeUp”
