Afrobeats as the new order of the day when it comes to music has its own disadvantages and advantages. The good however outweighs the bad because African music is fast taking over the work. One of the sprouting forces who is indeed making a mark in the music scene is Baba Wiper.
The musician who was born as Majemu Oluwasegun Rabiu hails from Nigeria but resides in Ghana. Born on the 13th of October, 1981, music has always been an integral part of Baba Wiper. His parents who were ardent listeners of Reggae, Calypso, Gospel and African music got Baba initiated into the music loving culture.
He started singing in churches and saw that indeed, he was talented musically.
Obtaining a Bsc from the University of Ilorin in Nigeria, Baba Wiper brought forth his first ever music project he titles, “Gbafun” in 2023.
With his innate passion for music, he is best influenced by the career pattern of great Afrobeat artiste, Fella Kuti. He has a total of two projects already out and another coming out pretty soon.
Baba Wiper believes that he will impact lives, break boundaries, garner awards and achieve record breaking grounds in his career.
