On the 25th day of September 2021 Mrs Abanga, The Wife of Npp Abanga ( Obia B3 Didi) Secures free Vouchers For The Youth of Upper West Region to Enable Them Access Entrance Forms into Dr. Hilla Liman Technical University.
Education arguably is the key to future prosperity. It is against this background that a Mrs. Abanga, the lovely wife of Npp Abanga (A National Youth Organizer hopeful), secured a good number of vouchers to be distributed to the youth across the region in the various constituencies. This is in reference to young men and women who wish to further their education in the University. This in effect, will enable those who are qualified and interested have access to the forms of Dr. Hilla Liman Technical University free of charge.
Donating the vouchers to her representatives in the region for onward distribution, she underscored the significance of education and its impact on the socio economic development of the region. She indicated that, as an illustrious daughter of the region, that was her little contribution to ease the financial burden of young SSS graduates who would want to further their education in that Technical University (Dr. Hilla Liman Technical University).
She urged that, the vouchers should be distributed without any form of discrimination or favour, adding that, her aim of exhibiting this kind gesture is to assist her brothers and sisters in the region to go beyond where she has reached on the educational ladder.
The distribution of the vouchers has since commenced with over one hundred interested applicants receiving theirs within the Wa Municipality. Meanwhile, plans are far advanced for the remaining ten districts of the region to have their fair share of the vouchers.
