Ghanaian artiste, Rocky Dawuni, has received a nomination for the upcoming 65th Grammy Awards.
This will be a record-third nomination from the award scheme as far as the Ghanaian music scene is concerned.
The selection of his song โNever Bow Downโ for the Best Global Music Performance category comes after the musician was considered by the Grammys back in 2015 and 2021.
The development was announced on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, by the Recording Academy.
The reggae artiste says he is โhonored to be nominated.โ

The other songs gunning for the same award are Burna Boyโs โLast Lastโ, โUdhero Naโ, by Arooj Aftab and Anoushka Shankar, and โGimme Loveโ, by Matt B and Eddy Kenzo, and โBaytheโ by Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini and Nomcebo Zikode.
The main event, however, comes off on Sunday, February 5, 2023.
