Let me first of all give thanks and praises to the almighty Allah, for the gift of life , good health and making us witness this historic event. My second thanks goes to the organizers of this colourful event for their sense of hard work, determination and spirit of endurance. We know, it wasn’t easy organizing such a big event. We say “Ye Barika”.
I will also like to recognize and thank all my fans, team members and my family for their continuous support, prayers and encouragement all these while. May Allah bless you all.
I am not seeing this award as just an award. It is a symbol to encourage, guide, position, humble and to remind me of the task before me. It is prompting me to drop any incongruous behavior ever exhibited (if any) hence being congruent should be my hall mark. PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR AWARD, speaks volumes and demand more from me and as such, I promise to keep and improve on my good works and I shall with emergency work on my weaknesses. This award has really made me go on bed with humbleness. As humans, we step on each other either covertly or overtly. If I have ever wrong anyone pls forgive me, going forward it won’t happen again and from the bottom of my heart, I have forgiven anyone who has wrong me in any way.
…And in my capacity as the upper west region MUSIGA CHAIRMAN, I recognize every artist and industry players hard work in trying to put upper west music on the limelight. Admittedly, there have been some challenges within us which are in a way drawing us back. I wish to use this platform to humbly request all artist and industry players beefing each other to lay down their arsenals and let peace rain. Again, I will use this opportunity to call on all supporting bodies and persons to come to our aid. Covid 19 has put us in state of destitute. It is also important to remind and encourage each and everyone to pay heed to the safety protocols given by the ministries health.
