My mission is clear: to promote sustainable development, ensure social justice, and uplift marginalized communities in the GA electoral area through enhanced governance and partnership building.

My motto reflects the commitment to being the voice of the people. I will serve as a conduit between the community and the decision-makers, ensuring that their concerns and aspirations are effectively communicated and addressed.
With the slogan, the voice of the Voiceless in the voiceless society,this encapsulatesmy dedication to representing those who are often overlooked or unheard. I will strive to amplify the voices of the marginalized and advocate for their rights and needs.Again, I aim to bring attention to the often-overlooked issues and concerns faced by those involved.Through my dedicated efforts, I seek to empower the unheard to create positive change.
If elected, Don-Ara Albert Jortee will focus on several key areas that require urgent attention:
- 1. Ensuring Proper Voting: I recognize the need for collaboration with the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) and the Electoral Commission (EC) to engage electorates in the electoral area. Through awareness campaigns and educational programs, I aim to reduce the number of spoiled ballots and votes, ensuring that every vote counts.
- Achieving Sustainable Development Goals: I am committed to collaborating with the NCCE to educate the community about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how they can be achieved by the 2030 deadline. By increasing awareness and understanding, I believe that the communities can actively contribute to the progress and development of the GA electoral area.
- Empowering Women and Youth: Recognizing the potential for economic growth and development, I will work closely with NGOs to provide economic empowerment opportunities for women and youth. By supporting initiatives that enhance their skills, access to resources, and entrepreneurial endeavors, I aim to bring about sustainable development and progress to our communities.
- Protecting the Environment: I understand the importance of preserving our natural resources.I will collaborate with chiefs, community focal persons, the Ghana National Fire Service, and security agencies to combat indiscriminate bush burning and the felling of economic trees. By safeguarding the environment, I aim to restore the depleted vegetation cover and promote sustainable practices by encouraging trees planting as well.
- 5. Women in Agriculture: I believe that empowering women in agriculture is crucial for the overall development of the electoral area.I plan to collaborate effectively with the district’s agricultural office and institutions like the Savannah Agricultural Research Institute (SARI) to provide education, accessible farm inputs, and support for women farmers. By making agriculture a lucrative venture, I aim to empower the youth and the entire electoral area.
- Promoting Communal Labor: once again I recognized the value of communal labor in achieving community goals. I will source funding to aid the mobilization of communal labor, fostering a sense of unity and collective responsibility among community members.
- Advocating Against School drop-outs and Child Marriage: I strongly oppose school and child marriage. I will tirelessly advocate for policies and initiatives that protect the rights of children and ensure their access to quality education and a bright future.
- 8. Peace and Security: I also acknowledge the need for peaceful coexistence between farmers and cattle owners. I will once more collaborate with chiefs, farmers, and Fulani herdsmen to reduce friction and promote understanding. By fostering dialogue and implementing conflict resolution strategies, I aim to create a harmonious environment for all.
- 9. Youth in Development: we all believe in the power of youth to drive positive change. I will prioritize youth development programs, providing opportunities for skills training, entrepreneurship, and mentorship. By empowering the youth, I aim to create a vibrant and prosperous future for the GA electoral area.
- Improving Health, Education, and Water Facilities: I seek to advocate strongly for improved health facilities, educational resources, and access to clean and potable water. I understand that these essential services are the foundation for a thriving community and will work tirelessly to ensure their availability to all citizens.
- Amplifying Voices for the Needy: Your Messenger [ Jortee Albert] will be a voice for the needy, widows, orphans and the aged, advocating for their rights and well-being. I hope to expand the coverage of social welfare programs like the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) to cater for their specific needs.
- Collaboration for Livestock Health: I am ready to effectively collaborate with the district agricultural office, especially the veterinary department, to ensure the availability of vaccines and healthcare services for livestock such as [ cattle, dogs, goats, pigs, hens, sheep and cats]. By promoting animal health, I aim to support the livelihoods of farmers and enhance agricultural productivity.
- Bridging the Gap between Communities and the Assembly: I will act as a liaison between the communities and the assembly, ensuring that the concerns and needs of the people are effectively communicated to the duty bearers. By fostering open communication and accountability, I aim to bridge the gap and create a stronger bond between the people and their representatives.
