A barely 56-years old grandmother of a Newly Born Baby at Busa a community under Wa municipality did not have enough Breast Milk to feed a 3 weeks old baby girl born to a Mentally Challenged Mother.
A girl child born to a Mentally Challenged Woman in Konkuoyiri Section of Busa has to receive her daily lactation from her old granny(The grand Mother of around 56years of age) as biological Mentally Challenged Mother refuses to feed her. This Girl Child now 3 weeks and is becoming malnourished as granny keeps complaining of slow and less flow of Breast Milk.
This Poor family is in dire need of new born clothing, Lacteal feeds and any other item deemed necessary or relevant to normalize the behavior of the Mother, and for the sustainance, safety and growth of the baby. The Health Workers have been trying to stabilize the Mentally Challenged Mother with Medication so as to normalize her behavior to the rescue of this little poor baby.
The Mental Health Officer in collaboration with the Busa Assembly Man have been battling with this issue. Your support in what ever means is necessary.
