I am not spelling doom for the case implicating popular MC Anaata but it will also pass without a scratch on anybody. Justice will not be served.  This case will die a natural death just like those in the past. Anaata Academy will do us like “Aviator”.

If you want, you can pull the sky to touch the ground but it will not change this case. It will die off soon as usual. I am saying this out of pain and not excitement because I know what my waala people are made of when it comes to defending people who commit or allegedly commit heinous crimes such as this.

I just hope and pray that this case is pursued to it logical conclusion. This will give some of us hope to pursue similar cases.  Before I hang up, let’s check out some of the cases in recent past that have never received the attention they deserved.

  1. Justice for Late Shaahid from Dondoli.

Late Shahid from Dondoli was wasted (murdered) by Upper West Police Anti robbery unit on March 8, 2023. His case was a mistaken identity and that manifested when they labelled the deceased with a different name in their report and on the body tag. This case is still not attended to and Justice not yet served.

  1. Justice for Stephen Mane and Iddrisu Alhassan.

On broad day light March 17, 2022, a civilian (ALhaj Inusah) picked his loaded Pump action gun to a construction site and started shooting his people after a scuffle. This resulted in loss of two precious lives and several others wounded. Stephen Mane, a former tutor of Wa Ploy and Iddrisu, administrator of UBIDS lost their lives. The culprit is still free and the case is yet to receive the attention it deserves.

  1. Leaked Sex Tapes.

It was like a norm to wake up in wa and be greeted with leaked sex tape.  Since 2017, this continued for a while and it became worst in 2021.  Leak tapes of Njo and Rahi, Shakuur, etc are all in the public domain. Little effort is done to nib this in the bud. The action that was taken by Wa naa to publicly flog culprits was met with public condemnation leading Wa naa(through his secretary) denying knowledge of the public flogging at the palace. Justice again not served and the cases keep coming up and dying off.

  1. Millitary brutality in WA.

The beating of unarmed civilians on the streets of Wa by Millitary men on July 1, 2021 led to severe injuries to the many victims with others maimed for life. This unprovoked attack by men in uniform is yet to receive the attention it deserves. Justice again not served.

  1. Alleged Serial Ritual Killings in WA.

In 2021/2022, a number of private Security workers (Night Watch men), mentally challenged and other homeless people in Wa were abducted and some murdered  in Wa.  Their body parts were harvested by these unknown people suspected to be ritualists. Few arrests were made and the case has since gone to sleep. Justice is yet to be served.

  1. Late Little Shahid of the Famous snake bite.

A two-year old boy from Boli who was bitten by a snake and rushed to the Wa Municipal Hospital, died due to an alleged negligence of some health workers on duty that day 10th October, 2019. The Regional Minister Dr Hafiz Bin Salih, out of public interest, inaugurated a committed to look into the matter and present its findings. The committee did their work, presented their report yet no action was taken. Justice again was denied.
