SAAKA RAUF (born 1 April 1986), known professionally as DAANGA . Daanga Is a Ghanaian Singer Born and bred in the newly created Savannah region of Ghana, Damongo to be precise .
Daanga started his musical career early in the 1999’s into the 200’s where he started music as a rapper performing on small community entertainment events before later becoming part of a musical group known as BMB which gave birth to the album BAKO FU KESHETEN in the year 2010 and later another album known as GBAGBATO before the group members went on their separate ways and that also started the solo artist journey of Daanga and also moving from rapping to a singer.
As a solo artist, Daanga came out with 2 major albums namely THE DAANGA @ 10 ALBUM and BEYOND THE MIC and both albums have very good remarkable songs that did well in the Northern part of the country. Apart from releasing two major albums , he has several singles to himself which are also doing well. His contribution in the Gonjaland And Ghanaian music industry has earned him more recognition and awards like :

As a singer, Daanga believes in authentic local Ghanaian hi life music so he tries to tell the Ghanaian story using the Gonja dialect whiles adding English and some few twi words when necessary to carry out his message across in his lyrics accompanying it with authentic Ghanaian rhythm and a bit of modern touches.
As an artist, Daanga looks forward to leaving behind a strong legacy of good music for his people in the Savannah region and Ghana as a whole.
