In his message, Hon. Bataglia revealed that a scammer had been impersonating him on Facebook to defraud unsuspecting individuals. “I have been made aware of a desperate fraudster using my Facebook account to scam unsuspecting people. I kindly request that everyone refrain from engaging with anyone via Facebook. I do not discuss employment matters on the blue app. Thank you,” he stated.
This caution serves as a timely reminder for individuals to remain vigilant against online fraud. Social media users are advised to verify any claims or offers they receive and to report suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
