On January 24, 2025, Hon. Amidu Chinnia, the outgone Member of Parliament for Tumu in the Sissala East Municipality, visited the Tumu Municipal Health Directorate to inspect several renovations he had supported. Among these were a newly constructed washroom facility and other essential improvements aimed at enhancing the directorate’s operations.
Previously, Hon. Chinnia had facilitated the procurement of a public address system and chairs for the directorate’s conference hall, demonstrating his commitment to improving the institution’s functionality.
During his visit, he further solidified his legacy of development-oriented leadership by donating GHS 15,000 to the health directorate. This contribution was designated for servicing three ambulances he had earlier procured for health facilities in Wallembelle, Nabulo, and Kunchogu.
Hon. Chinnia emphasized that institutional support is an indirect yet impactful way of uplifting the entire community. By strengthening healthcare infrastructure, he aimed to ensure better service delivery for all residents in the municipality.
As his tenure of office end, his contributions to the Sissala East Municipality remain a testament to his dedication to improving healthcare and enhancing the quality of life for his constituents.
