The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration headed by Miss Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey has commissioned the Upper West Regional Passport office.
This was done through the Upper West Regional Minister Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih, some noted dignitaries present were some chiefs including the Wa Naa, Naa Fuzeini Pelpuo II, some immigration officers were also present.
The Occasion was marked by traditional dance and exhibition of Northern costumes.
The Upper West Regional Passport office Project was Initiated by the Deputy Upper West Regional Minister, Mr. Amidu Chinnia in 2018 after he wrote to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Demanding for a passport office for the Region.
The Office is situated under the Ministries block D.
The office will serve other regions including Savannah Region, Upper East Region, Parts of Bono Region and Parts North East Region.
