The 2022/2023 Student Representative Council (SRC) of Kumasi Technical University (KSTU) has officially handed over the University’s Radio station, Radio Lynk with a frequency of 97.5 FM to the management of the University. The radio station has gone through phases where it was one of the most sought-after student radio stations until it went down. The SRC has done some great renovations to the place and has set to revamp the station back to its glory days.
The SRC President, Mr. Isaac Mensah speaking at the handing-over ceremony was very glad he and his executives have been able to achieve this feat. He said that the radio station will be a mouthpiece of the University and will be used to promote the University’s image and also to provide a platform for students to express themselves.
The Vice-Chancellor, Ing. Prof. Osei-Wusu Achaw also spoke at the ceremony. He commended the SRC for their efforts and said that the University is committed to supporting the radio station. He said that the radio station will be used to promote the University’s academic and extracurricular activities. The Vice-Chancellor was present with his Management and some senior Staff of the University.
The new Radio Lynk is set to be a great addition to the University community. It will provide a platform for students to express themselves, promote the University’s image, and provide entertainment for the students and the surrounding community.
The return of Radio Lynk is a great opportunity for students to get involved in the media and to have a voice on campus. The radio station will provide a platform for students to express themselves, to share their ideas, and to connect with other students. It will also provide a source of entertainment and information for students.
This is also a great opportunity for the larger audience to learn more about KsTU. The radio station will provide a platform for the University to share its news, events, and programmes with the community. It will also provide a source of entertainment and information for the community.
