The Chief Executive Officer of LC Foundation a non-governmental organization and a card bearing member of the National Democratic Congress NDC in the Wa Central Constituency of the Upper West Region Engineer Nurideen Moomin have donated three thousand Ghana Cedis (3000.00) into Radio Progress Humanitarian Campaign Project to support Iddrisu Najaha to undergo a hole-in-heart surgery at Korle Bu Teaching hospital.
Donating the money, the PRO to Engineer Nurideen Moomin Ishmail Halilu popularly called Albany Choices, said the CEO of LC Foundation and a Member of the NDC Engineer Nurideen Moomin heard the sad and touching story from Radio Progress after the story from Radio Progress was shared with him.
He said Mr Nurideen was touched when he read the story and decided to support Iddrisu Najaha to undergo the hole-in-heart surgery at Korle Bu Teaching hospital. He used the opportunity to also solicit support from sons and daughters of the Upper West region and the general public to help Iddrisu Najaha.
Staff and Management as well as the patient Iddrisu Najaha expressed our appreciation and gratitude for the timely support from Mr Nurideen Moomin and other Association’s as well as individuals for the love and support shown towards Iddrisu Najaha few days after the story was aired .
Radio Progress on May 24 broke the sad story of Iddrisu Najaha a 20year level 100 student of Simon Diedong Dombo University for Business and Integrated Development Studies SSD-UBIDS who is suffering from a hole-in-heart condition for the past two years.
Iddrisu Najaha who is suffering from the heart ailment needs an amount of $6000 (40,000. 00) to undergo a surgery at the National Cardiothoracic Centre of the Korle Bu Teaching hospital.
Meanwhile Radio Progress have received support from individuals, Associations and groups as well as market women at the Wa Central Market.
The campaign continues unabated to solicit support throughout the region and beyond to help save the life of Iddrisu Najaha a level 100 student of SDD-UBIDS.
